Money Matters

Catholic Care relies heavily upon voluntary contributions in order to continue its work and indeed to expand.  Your continued support is invaluable, especially in today’s economic climate when so many other organisations are seeking charitable help.

We know that friends out in the Diocese very generously support our Annual Appeal and Good Shepherd Appeal, by buying our Christmas Cards or by making a donation at Christmas. The best way we can make things happen is through committed and ongoing support, and we give our thanks to those that already regularly donate.

How can you help: -

• Donations: Can be made simply by cheque, postal order, or by standing order. We can accept donations made by Bank Card/VISA, all you have to do is telephone us. 

• Gift Aid: If you are a UK taxpayer and give a donation to Catholic Care, sign one of our Gift Aid Certificates. We will be able to claim from the Inland Revenue an additional 28p for every £1 you have donated, with no cost to yourself.

• House Boxes: This is a useful way of donating.  Once the box is full send a cheque or postal order to the value of its contents to us.

• A Legacy: Would help us to continue our work long after your death.  Please consider remembering the work of Catholic Care, serving people in need throughout the Diocese. To help you get started we have produced a small leaflet entitled “Your Willpower”, which is available free of charge.
