ASSISTANT DIRECTOR – CHILDREN

Catholic Care is looking for a committed and skilled professional to provide inspirational and confident leadership for its Children’s Services. As a member of our Senior Management Team, the Assistant Director will contribute to the strategic planning and management of the Charity as a whole.

As a qualified and experienced practitioner you will have sound knowledge of social work practice, including family placement work. With good communication skills, passion for our mission, sound business acumen, and appreciation of the current commissioning culture, you will have creative opportunities in this new post to develop innovative responses to the needs of children across Yorkshire.

We are looking for an experienced and motivated person to lead a team of dedicated staff in one of our four registered children’s homes. You will provide leadership skills and management to our developing team in a six-bed home promoting opportunities for young people to achieve their full potential.

With a sound knowledge of residential social care practice and a commitment to individual needs, you will have creative opportunities to make a positive difference to the lives of looked after children.
