An opportunity has arisen to join this team due to the retirement of a member of staff.
You should be a good listener and communicator, able to support each person both in their home and in their wider community. You will be included in all aspects of their lives through proper and regular community and domestic participation.
You must be an active contributory team member and also be able to lone work and be confident to use your own initiative.

Spinal Point 13-17 currently £16,491 – £17,772 pro rata dependent on qualifications and experience – an extra increment is paid on completion of relevant Diploma in Health & Social Care

You would be required to work in a person centred way, as part of the team to help and support tenants to enhance their skills and ability and to assist them in making choices and decisions.
The role requires applicants to be able to work on a shift pattern (may include sleep in duties) and supporting individuals on their holidays.
Experience and Qualifications:
Ideally you will have experience of supporting people with learning disabilities or other care services. Qualifications and experience are desirable but we believe the right attitude and approach are essential and training will be provided.
You must be prepared to work towards achieving a minimum of Level 2 Diploma, in Health and Social Care (Adults)
You will be required to have effective computer and IT skills.
