This property is a registered service which accommodates four adults who have a learning disability. The property is situated within walking distance of Skipton Town Centre.

Facilities

Ground Floor: large kitchen / dining area; one bedroom; laundry room and separate w.c.
First Floor: spacious sitting room; three bedrooms and a bathroom with spa bath.

The house also has a conservatory and a garden which has been suitably designed and adapted for residents who have visual impairments.

Each resident has a Key Worker who works closely with them and their families / advocates to produce a Person Centred Plan. This Plan looks at all areas of the individual’s life, ensuring their needs are met.

Staff are happy to work with parents, other family members and advocates to offer continuity and support as far as is practicable. Authorised visitors and friends are free to visit at any reasonable time. It is helpful to make arrangements in advance to ensure residents are home and room can be made available for visits.

Residents are supported to access a wide range of social, educational, leisure activities and health services.

  • Compatible with internal procedures as set by the National Minimum Standards

Staffing

We have nine members of staff working full or part-time, over 24 hours.

Inspections

The service is a registered residential care home and achieved a standard of ‘Good’ following the most recent inspection by the Care Standards Commission
